Liber Diaboli: The Book of Fiends
An optional supplement for Shadowdark and other classic-style OSR role-playing games, this booklet provides rules for creating demons, devils, and other denizens of the Underworld. Fiends range from Level 1 to Level 30, gaining power as they advance, and can serve as encounters, summoned creatures, or fiendish player characters through Underworld ancestry classes. The rules cover cosmology, fiendish ranks, level advancement, abilities and talents, possession, summoning, spellcasting, and random traits. A catalogue of 24 fiendish ilks includes creatures such as imps, spiders, minotaurs, mariliths, balors, oozes, and dragons, along with tables for chaos talents and unusual traits.
