Lock 'n Load: A Ring of Hills
This tactical combat game depicts ground fighting between British and Argentine forces during the 1982 Falklands War. Scenarios cover battles at Goose Green, Darwin Hill, Top Malo House, and the hills west of Stanley, including Two Sisters, Mount Longdon, Wireless Ridge, Mount Tumbledown, and Mount William. The game also includes the seizures of Stanley and South Georgia, along with two hypothetical scenarios. Players command Argentine conscripts, marines, and amphibious commandos or British Paras, Royal Marines, and Gurkhas. Harrier and Pucara air strikes, artillery support, varied infantry units, and geomorphic maps represent the conditions and combat of the South Atlantic campaign.
