This anthology explores the origins of forty-three pact spirits, recounting the choices involving love that left each one lost, broken, or cursed for eternity. The legends expand the setting and backstories of spirits from previous collections while introducing new material for pact magic, including the Periodic Table of Spirits. Many stories contain adult themes and situations.
