Maze of the Screaming Heads

An OSR-compatible adventure for 3–5 characters of levels 5–7, set in a sealed crypt-library filled with undead heads containing arcane lore. The heads’ constant babble distracts explorers while monsters use ambushes and hit-and-run attacks, with environmental hazards adding further danger. Escaping the maze requires investigation, negotiation, combat, or an unholy bargain. Characters can ally with an undead cultist, solve a puzzle using clues from the few sane heads, defeat a deadly monster, or sell their souls to a Demon Prince. The dungeon contains fragile books, valuable lore, and more than 45,000 gp worth of potential treasure.
