Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game: Battle Companies
This expansion for the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game lets players assemble a small warband and develop it through a series of linked games. Warriors gain experience, learn skills, acquire equipment and suffer injuries or death as the campaign progresses. The book includes rules for mustering and managing a Battle Company, 22 themed companies from across Middle-earth, an armoury, 12 scenarios and a five-part narrative campaign. Additional rules cover battles in locations such as Lake-town, Goblin-town, forests and haunted ruins, along with using Battle Companies in larger games. A roster sheet is included for recording each warrior’s progress, equipment and injuries.
