Mortum: Medieval Detective – The Shelter

Players assume the roles of agents from a secret organization and investigate eerie occurrences in a grim, medieval-inspired setting where legends and superstitions come to life. Play proceeds through turns in which a player selects from available cards—Clues, Locations, Witness Interrogations, and similar options—and uses those cards plus gained Special Actions to reconstruct events and advance the narrative. Encounters with named characters matter: interrogation outcomes and player choices affect other characters’ fates and the scenario’s resolution. The scenario functions as a stand-alone case but is also designed as a follow-up after the core campaign.
