Players field a single powerful warrior built for holding ground, with stats and abilities that emphasize resilience, damage soaking, and stand-fast tactics. Gameplay focuses on positioning, timing of defensive reactions, and choosing when to trade space for protection. The character gains bonuses when guarding or interposing for allies, and abilities that trigger while immobile or when taking concentrated attacks. Resolution uses the system’s combat and event mechanics to model stalwart endurance and sacrificial defense.
