Ottoman Sunset: The Great War in the Near East

Solo strategic war game in which the player leads the Young Turks and manages the Ottoman Empire’s military, political, and logistical challenges in the Near East from 1914–1918. Players deploy and maneuver units representing Allied fronts, play and resolve cards, conduct offensives and defenses, and allocate limited German support while responding to British, Russian, and Arab threats across Anatolia, the Levant, Mesopotamia, and the Hejaz. Turns represent a few weeks of real time; victory depends on preserving territory, maintaining cohesion, and meeting campaign objectives under resource constraints and external pressures.
