Path of the Reluctant Hero
This roleplaying supplement provides more than 80 abilities for creating reluctant heroes from humble or complicated backgrounds, including farmers, orphans, retired adventurers, scoundrels, and those who deny their destiny. Characters can rely on grit, experience, guile, luck, practical wisdom, or inherited burdens to face danger and protect what matters to them. Abilities cover resilience, caution, obscurity, everyday expertise, and sudden acts of courage, supporting heroes who appear harmless or unwilling until circumstances demand action.
