Perch: Birds of Play
Players compete to expand and control a homestead for competing flocks of birds, using modular expansions that can be mixed together. Seeds spread across the board offer immediate rewards and influence turn order for birds that land there first. Rotating sun and moon tokens alter long-term location rewards as they move around the homestead, encouraging timing and positional planning. New Pond tiles introduce area scoring and interaction: breadcrumbs lure birds from adjacent spaces, and control of special pond creatures grants asymmetric abilities that affect movement and scoring. The set also adds hidden objective cards that tie into the new mechanics and strategies.
