PX Poker Night (Call of Cthulhu)
At an isolated U.S. Air Force base in Nebraska, obsolete aircraft and unwanted personnel share a routine of maintenance and boredom. Each Saturday, the base staff gathers for a poker game at the post exchange, where the evening’s ritual is interrupted by mysterious visitors and the arrival of madness and deadly violence. This introductory horror scenario for the Call of Cthulhu role-playing game is designed to run in under four hours. It includes eleven pre-generated characters for a one-shot session, which can also serve as base personnel if players create their own investigators.
