Rapid Fire!: Monty's Desert Battles – 8th Armys Desert Campaign

A tabletop wargaming supplement covering the desert campaign fought by Rommel and Montgomery in late 1942, from the loss of Tobruk to the fall of Tripoli, including the Battle of El Alamein. It provides organization charts down to company level, adapted rules for desert combat, and guidance on the tactics and maneuvers used by both sides. Eight historical battles are included for play at battalion, brigade, and divisional level, along with advice on creating scenarios, building terrain, and painting armies. The full-colour book contains more than 80 photographs.
