Runebound: The Island of Dread
Explore a new island environment in the Runebound fantasy adventure setting and piece together a lost map to the fabled Island of Dread. This expansion replaces the base game's map and playable characters with a new board overlay and adventure content. Players travel across scattered islands by land and sea, hiring ships to transport their heroes and facing encounters, challenges, events, and equipment from 110 new cards. Different ships offer different costs and risks, and players must manage their journeys and loot while seeking the Island of Dread. Requires the Runebound base game.
