Once situated along a mighty river, the abandoned Salt Spire served as a refuge for mages and is said to contain powerful magic within its deserted halls. It marks a major crossing toward the highlands and provides an adventure setting for a party of six fourth-level characters, adaptable to most roleplaying systems.
