Shadows of Brimstone: Temple of Shadows Deluxe Expansion
A Feudal Japan–themed expansion that adds new hero classes, enemies, missions, and map tiles for cooperative dungeon-crawling play. Players outfit and advance new character archetypes — a brawler enforcer, a deceptive geisha who can heal and strike from stealth, a veteran soldier with firearms training, and a supernatural kitsune — then take them into branching mission encounters. New enemy types and upgraded bosses populate both the Forbidden Fortress and the Belly of the Beast: swarming animated lanterns, tentacled Takobake warriors and their Fallen Shogun leader, and parasitic Skin Crawlers from the beast’s interior. The box supplies double-sided map tiles, mission cards, enemy counters, and campaign content to integrate these challenges into ongoing scenarios.

- Expansion - Temple of Shadows is a "weird" expansion: it feels like an Other World expansion but does not include one. In fact, it only includes 4 Forbidden Fortress / Belly of the Beast tiles. On the other hand, it is the only big expansion including Heroes. It just feels like the natural companion to the Forbidden Fortress core set, and the next purchase if interested in the setting. Probably even before the Feudal Village. Not much more to say: a basic expansion to own if interested in FoFo, and nothing you'd buy if not into the Feudal Japan flavor of SoB.
