Shadows of Brimstone: The Hellmouth
A famous writer has vanished while searching the hills for the fabled Hell Mouth hidden in the local mines. Heroes must find him and bring him back alive as the ominous events described in his stories begin to resemble reality. A massive stone eruption and swirling portal mark the Hell Mouth. During exploration, it serves as a gate for enemies or the void, doubling encounters, attacks, or growing-dead effects on exploration tokens and adding enemies to the fight.
