Shallow Regrets: The Fisher & the Frod

Compete against an automated rival in a compact solo expansion built around a six-card AI deck. Players set up the base game normally while shuffling a separate deck that scripts the rival’s decisions and difficulty level. Turns proceed like the core game, but both sides use a split layout showing exhausted fish in a column and available fish in a row. On the rival’s turn, a previously revealed strategy ability is applied if possible, a new strategy card is revealed, the rival then catches the single largest fish possible with its available strength, and finally moves a fish between shoals. Scoring follows the base rules except the rival never incurs foul penalties; outscore the rival to win.
