In October 1891, Dr. Watson is concerned by Sherlock Holmes’s sudden interest in strange books and solitaire, following an article in The Times. Wiggins suggests investigating the events that may have caused this unusual behavior. This single-case expansion uses the familiar investigation system: players study the newspaper, consult the London directory, follow leads, and question witnesses before answering the case questions.
