Stick-bug (fan expansion for Hive)
This fan expansion adds a long, flexible piece to the insect hive. It moves either by pivoting around one end or by shifting as a whole, provided one of its edges would have touched its previous position. It cannot land on other pieces, but may occupy confined spaces when at least half of its length fits. The piece can be lifted while moving, as long as this does not disconnect the hive.
