In the depths of the forest, an ancient darkness is awakening. The Dark Watch has kept it contained for a thousand years, but the arrival of human fortune-hunters and the changing seasons threaten to break its fetters. This fourth episode in the Chronicle of the Throne of Thorns presents the Mother of Darkness adventure, leading expeditions into the dangerous region of Dakovar and the ruined city of Symbar. It also includes rules and guidance for creating journeys into the forest’s wilder, darker reaches.
