The Black Fortress: Death Master Version 2.0
An adventure for a party of four to six 8th- to 10th-level fantasy roleplaying characters, set in a mysterious stronghold within the Plane of the Dead. The characters explore the fortress and its courtyard maze in search of the Black Skull Staff, an artifact linked to the enigmatic Death Master and the threat of the Greater Demon Holofax. The module includes a time-traveling storyline, detailed maps, new monsters and creature templates, and rules for encounters in the fortress. Appendices provide ready-to-use characters, spells, feats, magical items, and most of the required game statistics.
