The Canadians in Italy: The Red Patch Devils in Sunny Sicily
A collection of historical World War II tactical scenarios that rehearse Canadian operations during the 1943 Sicilian campaign. Players command infantry, armor and artillery formations in episodic battles such as ambushes on Route 124, town fights, ridge assaults and coordinated set-piece attacks, each with period terrain and order-of-battle details. Gameplay uses the Advanced Squad Leader ruleset and requires the base game plus specified modules. Players maneuver squads, tanks and support weapons, resolve firefights and assaults, and manage artillery, air strikes and limited reinforcements across multiple linked scenarios that recreate operational challenges faced by Canadian brigades and regiments in Sicily.
