The Fate of the Empire
Heroes seek aid from the mountain kingdom of Lorenz, where King Leo demands an expedition to the cultists’ hollow mountain. His secret ambitions and weaknesses complicate the mission, forcing the heroes to flee on Pegasus-back in an aerial chase against winged nightmares. In the imperial capital, a troubled court looks to the heroes to shape the empire’s response to the growing crisis. Players work to organize and unite human forces while confronting the threat of the monstrous Sleeper, Tsathoggua. This forms the third act of a four-part campaign.
