The Gallows (fan expansion for Carcassonne)
This fan expansion adds gallows to certain tiles. When placing one, a player may either hang a follower or use the tile normally, deploying a follower on the city segment outside the gallows area. Once used, the tile leaves play and cannot hang another follower; a hanged follower does not prevent deployment to the city because it cannot control that segment.
