The Gold Bug and the Treasure of La Buse
A pirate-themed dungeon adventure inspired by the life of Olivier Levasseur, Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Gold-Bug,” and classic treasure-hunt stories. The Buzzard’s Nest can be added to an ongoing campaign or played as a one-shot beginning at the dungeon entrance with key clues already in hand. Players explore the site, follow its clues, and search for buried treasure while facing traps, puzzles, and deadly dangers. The adventure supports a lower-combat approach, though groups that act recklessly may face severe consequences.
