Fives
Players play a three- or four-player trick-taking game with a fixed trump suit and a must-follow rule. Each card has a regular face and a reverse that represents a magenta 5; in many situations a player may play a card face down to act as that magenta 5, but only one magenta 5 may appear in any trick. The trick winner collects all cards played, keeping their own card on top. After each hand, players score based on the sum of the values of their top cards: those above 25 lose points, those at 25 or below gain points, with rewards scaled by closeness to 25. Play four rounds; the highest total score wins.
