The Hand of the Law
This volume contains three adventures for 1st–4th level characters in the Pax Lexque campaign world. The player characters serve in Manus Legis, an imperial special-forces cohort tasked with dealing with dangers left behind by the Wars of Darkness, ancient conflicts that fractured the Roman Empire. The missions range from tracking down lost sheep and investigating stolen magical supplies to uncovering the disappearance of a merchant caravan and laying restless spirits to rest. The volume also introduces the Alchemist class.
