A sourcebook that details the shadow conflicts of the Horus Heresy era: clandestine campaigns fought by Knights‑Errant, Shattered Legions and Blackshields across a galaxy in turmoil. It presents narrative accounts of five distinct shadow wars and supplies rules for linked campaign play, special Shadow Wars missions, new Rites of War and legion-specific options. Players can field mixed-legion Shattered Legion forces, deploy Knights‑Errant and renegade Blackshields, and use new unit entries and characters for Legiones Astartes and the Mechanicum. Included are profiles and wargear for new transports, dreadnought patterns and battle-automata, plus rules for Dark Angels, Blood Angels and White Scars legion forces.
