The Year of the Goat
This anthology for Call of Cthulhu presents 12 scenarios centered on Shub-Niggurath, the Black Goat and All-Mother. The stories explore family, conception, mutation, creation, self-improvement, and other forms of transformation across modern, Dark Ages, gaslight, Dust Bowl, and classic-era settings. The 228-page collection includes 40 player handouts and more than 50 pregenerated investigators. Scenarios involve missing-person investigations, wellness cults, occult festivals, isolated communities, cannibalistic worshippers, supernatural bargains, and other cases that draw investigators into eldritch horror.
