Tibetan Dress, Arms & Armor
A world-building reference on Tibetan clothing, weapons, and armor, shaped by the region’s high-altitude climate, local resources, and trading connections. It covers wool, felt, yak leather, metals, silk, and other materials, along with the differences between agricultural communities, herders, and groups dependent on trade. Indian, Persian, and Chinese influences are also discussed for use in developing historically grounded settings and characters.
