Trail of Madness
A one-page fantasy adventure for 6th-level characters in 5e or OSR systems. Beneath the Monastery of St. Avon lies a seemingly bottomless pit that once released a gas causing madness. When the gas suddenly disappears after more than twenty years, the characters must investigate the depths and follow its trail to discover who stole it. The scenario is designed for a single session with limited preparation. It includes complete monster statistics for 5e and OSR/1e play, along with gridded and gridless maps.
