A fantasy role-playing game set in a medieval alternate world shaped by heroic legends, fairy tales, and sword-and-sorcery fiction. Players create adventurers and explore underground tunnels filled with traps, monsters, magic, and treasure, using rules for combat, character development, and sorcery. This edition includes the complete fifth-edition rules, the solo adventure Buffalo Castle, a chronology of Trollworld, and optional rules covering character creation, unusual character types, combat, spite damage, skills, money, and play style.
