Twilight Imperium: Third Edition – Shards of the Throne

An expansion for a galactic civilization game, this adds new races, units, technologies, system tiles, and alternate strategy cards to the struggle for power among the stars. Players expand their empires, command fleets and ground forces, and compete through politics, diplomacy, and conquest. Mercenaries, mechanized units, and race-specific flagship units provide additional military options. A Political Intrigue variant adds agendas and espionage to the political phase, while a new scenario places one player in control of the legendary Lazax Empire.
