In 1514, the Scourge of the Dead has devastated Europe, Africa, and Asia, plunging the world into a dark alternate Renaissance. Heroes of the New Kingdoms venture into the ruins of civilization to reclaim the world from the undead and other deadly threats. The game focuses on savage adventures in a macabre historical setting, with players facing dangerous enemies and exploring a world reshaped by the plague of the dead.
