Vale of the Mages
A secluded vale contains four wizard towers linked by a river winding through cliffs and woods: a cozy round tower, a larger square tower, an archmage’s estate with gardens, stables, and a dungeon, and a ruined ancient tower. The location can be used as a whole or as individual sites in an ongoing campaign. Its wizards may be competing over a buried magical item, while adventurers investigate a murder, search for a missing wizard, or explore the abandoned towers after a magical catastrophe.
