An ancient fantasy setting for the Troika! roleplaying game, set in the Permian era before the dinosaurs. Dimetrodons, Xenacanthus, nautiloids, ammonites, thrinaxodons, and broomistegas form diverse nations and develop cultures based on peace, respect, cooperation, and communication. The setting presents a Paleozoic world of wetlands, sacred treaties, philosophical depths, and communal aquaculture, before the arrival of humans and their attempts to claim it.
