War of the Worlds: The New Wave

A two-player, asymmetrical deck-building conflict set several years after H.G. Wells’s original invasion. One player commands the Martian forces landed in a rural Scottish district from a massive spaceship; the other leads UK self-defense units trying to stop the occupation. Players build and use distinct decks, maneuver miniatures on a shared board, and manage tokens and event cards as the struggle unfolds. The Martians aim to annihilate the population of Great Britain, while the defenders pursue strategies to inflict enough damage to destroy the Martian army. Gameplay balances card-driven actions, area control on the board, and escalating events that shift momentum.
