A campaign book set during the return of a powerful necromancer and the upheaval that follows across the Warhammer Old World. The narrative volume chronicles major battles, rising undead and the shifting political and military landscape from Bretonnia and the Empire to the Land of the Dead. A companion rules volume provides scenarios, army lists and special rules for fielding the necromancer and allied undead forces, expands options for Lords, introduces the Lore of Undeath for spellcasting characters, and offers combined lists for Tomb Kings and Vampire Counts to form unified Undead armies.
