Wings of Glory: World War 2 – Douglas SBD-5 Dauntless
A fully assembled and painted scale airplane model representing the Douglas SBD-5 dive bomber, presented as a ready-to-play aircraft for World War II aerial combat scenarios. Players pilot the plane on a hex- or maneuver-based tabletop, executing turns, climbs, dives and attacks using a maneuver deck and damage/altitude tracking. The aircraft features its historical loadout and performance: dive-bombing capability, significant bomb payload, and armament tuned to its role as a carrier-borne scout and dive bomber. Stat lines reflect the SBD-5’s heavier armor and ammunition capacity versus contemporary fighters, and the unit is compatible with other World War II airplane packs for squad-level engagements.
