World War II on the Western Front

Command German or Allied forces across France and the Low Countries in two historical scenarios covering the 1940 Blitzkrieg and the 1944 Normandy breakout. Players move units on a mounted map, resolve land and sea combat on a battleboard, manage supply and reinforcements, and play optional event cards that introduce weather, unrest, and political effects. Terrain such as forests, rivers, mountains, and beaches affects movement and combat. The box includes a rulebook, scenario-specific event decks, setup charts, and markers; the deluxe version adds tokens for fortresses, beachheads, supply, airfields, specialized units, and weather. Miniature units and colored chips are required separately for play.
