Two new maps present different regional challenges for the core rail-laying game. The Belgium map focuses on dense track networks and regional connections, while the South Africa map centers on gold export: players explore for gold, begin with extra cash, and face an added fee on every auction bid. Delivering yellow goods (gold) reduces a player’s share position on the share track, altering income and endgame scoring. Players lay track, run trains, bid in route auctions, and manage income and shares as they adapt to each map’s terrain and economic twists.
