Commands & Colors: Ancients Expansion Pack #3 – The Roman Civil Wars
This expansion focuses on the Roman Civil Wars, introducing scenarios and updated capabilities for Roman legionary units. Medium infantry representing less experienced legions and heavy infantry representing veterans can move two hexes without engaging, or move one hex and conduct close combat while throwing pilum. The core battle system remains unchanged, using Command cards to create uncertainty and battle dice to resolve combat. The expansion also includes a mounted mapboard that combines with the board from the Rome vs. the Barbarians expansion, along with rules for large-scale Epic Ancients battles.
