Choose between two new maps offering different strategic focuses: a Roma board centers on urban development and scoring via placement near iconic locations such as the Colosseum, Forum Romanum, Circus Maximus, and Pantheon. Players expand networks, deploy colonists, and send ships abroad to gather resources and additional benefits. The Sicilia board places action on an island where Etna’s eruptions introduce a configurable element of chance that can disrupt plans; the eruption mechanic is optional. Players adapt placement and movement to local geography while managing resources and trade to score points.
