Players act as competing merchants in a busy free-trade city, learning new techniques, buying and selling goods, and managing a stall to assemble a set of items that wins the guild’s favour. Gameplay uses multiple themed decks that introduce different abilities and interactions—some decks disrupt opponents, others grant tighter card control, introduce dice, trigger reactions to other players’ actions, apply effects to everyone, or delay actions to the next turn. The box can be played standalone or combined with the original decks and includes an alternate four-player team mode that pairs players into cooperative teams to cut downtime and encourage joint strategy.
