Descent: The Altar of Despair
An expansion that adds new heroes, monsters, and mechanics to an existing fantasy dungeon-crawl campaign. Players continue an ongoing narrative as hero characters exploring corrupted temples, facing traps, curses, and ambushes while the Overlord controls enemy forces. The box introduces six new hero characters with unique skills and treasures, five new monster types, and over two dozen plastic miniatures. New Overlord options include dark glyphs, relics, and additional tactics that expand encounter variety and challenge.
