Players compete to win tricks using numbered cards where the highest card in each trick determines the winner, regardless of who played it. Tricks contain worker and resource cards; winning tricks with one’s own workers lets players convert resources into victory points. Character cards add special abilities that modify tricks and resource use, creating tactical choices about when to play certain cards and which tricks to contest.
