The World of Smog: On Her Majesty's Service
Set in a Victorian steampunk world, players take the roles of competing agents pursuing a royal quest. The modular board consists of rotating tiles that shift the layout each turn, forcing path planning and adaptation. Players collect and trade two resource types—Ethers and Artefacts—to fulfill objectives assigned by the crown while managing encounters with enemy agents controlled by the game. Turns combine tile manipulation, movement, resource management and tactical confrontations, with victory determined by completing the quest conditions and outpacing opponents.

Evan4.6 This is a cute game where players move around this ever-changing board to buy and sell potions, and collect key cards from the edges. There are also NPC characters who walk around the board, controlled by the staring player who make things difficult where they are. I enjoyed this game, the minis are nice, but ultimately it felt a little too light to me. There's a decent amount of 'take that' as the game progresses, with cards that steal critical things from the target that then allows the person who played the effect to win. All in all, I'd play it again, but I don't feel the need to own it. ★ Art, Iconography and components functional ★ Clever or interesting mechanisms ☆ Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players ★ Multiple plays stay interesting ★ Low or mitigatable luck elements ★★☆☆☆ Raw enjoyment
