Players act as foremen directing teams of navvies building railways through Mid and North Wales. Each turn they play from a small hand of action cards to collect resources, remove rubble, lay track, and construct stations while moving crews along the map. Actions unlock new spaces and abilities that expand future options, so card selection and timing remain central throughout play. The game emphasizes tactical decision-making in a two-player duel where accumulating victory points from construction, completed lines, and situational bonuses determines the winner.
