Gears of War: The Board Game

Play as COG soldiers defending humanity in a last, desperate stand against the subterranean Locust horde. Players cooperate to complete one of several mission layouts, move figures across modular map tiles, take cover, perform actions like ranged fire, blind fire, and brutal melee attacks, and manage ammunition, wounds, and grenades. Enemy behavior is driven by an automated system that spawns and advances waves of foes, forcing players to coordinate positioning and tactics. Scenarios recreate moments from the source material with scenario objectives, escalating difficulty, and a focus on teamwork and communication to survive encounters and achieve mission goals.

[Lejano y débil susurro Locust] HUMAAANOOOS / [Far and weak Locust whisper] HUUUMAAANS. This Gears of War 2 quote sums up, for me, the game. Bloodthirsty Locust are anxious to meet the strong Gears. Love the videogame, love this boardgame, but is terrifying difficult!
