In the Year of the Dragon: 10th Anniversary

Players act as regional rulers in medieval China and manage workers and resources across twelve monthly rounds as disasters and events unfold. Each round players select an action, play a person card to recruit a worker into a palace, and use workers’ skills (farmers for rice, tax collectors for money, etc.) to prepare for upcoming events. After actions and recruitment, the month’s event resolves and can cost workers, money, or grant points. Optional expansions add a buildable Great Wall track that grants immediate resources and bonuses, and unpredictable super event tiles that alter a later month’s effect.
